How these numbers are made
Source. Every live, publicly listed property on rentaroof.in as of 28 September 2026 — 7,176 in all, 4,146 residential and 3,030 commercial, across 95 localities.
Median, not average. We publish the middle listing and the 25th–75th percentile band around it, so a handful of trophy properties cannot move the figure and no row has to be thrown out.
Priced rows only. 1,028 listings carry a stated rent and 295 a stated sale price. The rest are on request and are counted in the footprint but excluded from price stats.
A floor of six. No median is published on fewer than six listings. Where a colony is missing below, that is why.
